What is Godly Play?
Godly Play is an interactive approach to working with children. In Godly Play, children enter into parables, silence, sacred stories, and liturgy in order to discover God, others and the world we live in. By meeting the needs of children with different learning styles, the curriculum allows children to decide for themselves how to respond — perhaps by making their own artistic response, by learning to retell the story, or by using puzzles, or picture books.
Godly Play prepares children for worship. They learn religious language, begin to understand Christian symbols, and grasp the pattern of the liturgical year. Godly Play provides opportunities for children to make existential discoveries on their own, within a supportive community.

What is LIVE B.I.G.?

It is children coming to know the love of God through Jesus. It is music, art, theater, dance, laughter, sign language, discussion, imagination, education, entertainment, sight, sound, cool graphics, hands-on activities, stickers, games, crafts, Bible stories, worship, prayer and more. It is helping children grow as children of God by taking what they learn from Sunday School into their everyday lives.
Three BIG truths:
God is a great big God!
God loves us with a great big love!
We are part of God’s great big world!
Live Big provides a variety of learning activities to reach the many different learning styles that are present in each classroom.
