Our Women’s Ministry supports women in their relationship with God so that through spiritual friendships, mentoring, modeling, and teaching one another, we might experience the freedom to become all that God intends us to be. You are invited to participate in the various expressions of this important ministry.

United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women (UMW) is the largest denominational faith organization for women with approximately 800,000 members worldwide whose mission is to foster spiritual growth, develop leaders, and advocate for justice. Members raise up to $20 million each year for programs and projects related to women, children, and youth in the United States and in more than 100 countries around the world. There are two UMW groups at North: Miriam Circle and Women of Lydia. For more information about United Methodist Women, click here.
The Miriam Circle meets in the Parlor at noon on the fourth Thursday of the month (except for July and August) for lunch, project planning, and programs focused on the UMW’s mission. Meetings are open to all interested in joining the group.
The Women of Lydia
The Women of Lydia meet in the Parlor at 7:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month (except June and July). Open to women of all ages, the group supports each other through discussions of current topics, studies, and mission work ranging from collecting supplies for emergency aid kits for women and families affected by disasters to hosting meals celebrating our youth.
